Childbirth Education

Feeling ready for your birth and postpartum experience?

You're about to experience labor, birth and postpartum! Have questions about what that can look like? How to best support your partner? How is a baby born anyway? Will I really know what to do? A birth class is a great place to learn, build community, and ask those burning questions!

My goal as a childbirth educator is to provide a holistic education surrounding your journey to becoming parents. I want you to walk away from class feeling prepared, and excited for however your birth unfolds.

Each class you will learn

  • The physiological process of childbirth and postpartum

  • Labor coping and support for BOTH parents involved

  • Asking questions and facilitating good communication between you and your provider

  • Advocacy and informed decision making tools

  • Planning your postpartum well

  • Breastfeeding and baby feeding basics

  • Information for local resources

May 21st and 28th
(two Sundays)
1pm-5pm
$375 per couple

Two, 4 hour day series held at True North Birth Center in Poulsbo, WA

June 10th and 17th
(Two Saturdays)
9am-1pm
$375 per couple

Two, 4 hour day series held at True North Birth Center in Poulsbo, WA

July 22nd and 29th
(Two Saturdays)
1pm-5pm
$375 per couple

You will be prompted to choose which series and taken directly to a payment page.

Full Payment must be made in order to hold your spot in class.

Full payment is required to hold your spot in class. If a cancellation is needed due to your inability to make the class after payment has been made notice MUST be given at least 48 hours before scheduled class start time. In such case your payment may be used towards another class taught by Mikala Cummins OR a refund of 50% returned to you. NO REFUND or option to reschedule using the original payment will be given due to no show, or notice less then 24 hours of the class's scheduled start time. In this case you will need to pay for an additional class if you still choose to reschedule
